FRANK | FOOD

I cook. I eat. I take pictures and tell you about it. Food I make, dishes I love, things that inspire and things that don't.

For me and my friends everyday is good eating.

Point Reyes Oyster Farm!
I’ve been on a little trip to the Bay Area and came upon an oyster farm in Pt. Reyes off Hwy 1 in Sonoma County. These delicious little babies were fresh out of the bay. Sweet and couldn’t get any fresher unless I had pulled them off a rock myself.
I love them with just a squeeze of lemon and a squirt of spicy cocktail sauce (which is nice to make at home by mixing half a cup good quality ketchup with two tablespoons (or more or less to your taste) of your favorite prepared horseradish. Being from the Northwest orginally, I like Beaver brand.). At $1.25 each this stop was well worth the drive!
